A Wee Update

Slowly, but surely (Don't call me Shirley) I'm creeping along with my project. I've removed all of the hardware from my Double Dragon's cabinet, except for the coind door which I'll get to tonight probably, then give it a good hosing down and let the Texas summer dry that sucker out in no time. I've gotten some parts in for the control panel, specifically two 24" rack rails which I need to trim down to fit in the cabinet.

I also got the DVDs for Space Ace and Dragon's Lair II: Time Warp off eBay for about $10 each (As opposed to $30 for each) so I can add these games to my cabinet, once I configure my pc to play these games. I'll use the Daphne emulator to extract the movie files onto the hard drive and so it can run/emulate the games properly instead of relying on a DVD player and controls to play the game. I already have the original Dragon's Lair game as well, so now I have the Don Bluth trilogy.

Congrats on building a MAME cabinet. I would too but I don't have a garage and I'd probably saw something important off.

I'll be checking back for updates.

Hiya there! I'm another texan with an Arcade machine! hahah, Really, I have the the 4-player X-Men, with a second Jamma of TMNT. I'll be buying a Simpsons Jamma soon, but, my question to you is, since Jammas are playable with jamma arcades (Duh), would Double dragon be ok for my machine? It IS a jamma, but, my machine has 3 buttons, and a joy stick for all 4 (or in this case 2) players. Will I need the 1 and 2 player option buttons, or does it really matter?
